Le centre de tri boulaire is a place where the balls are sorted. There are several places where the balls can go, each leading to different states. One tunnel leads to the real world, where they encounter joy, love, war, cigarettes, plastic, the Earth, essentially, the shock of reality. The other tunnels lead the balls to unknown worlds.
